Journeyman
Licensed on Local Levels.

 

Master
Licensed on Local Levels

 

Unlimited Electrical Contractor
Requirements: Minimum of 3 yrs. proven experience with W-2 forms
Exam By: Department of Business & Professional Regulation Bureau of Education and Testing


Continuing Education Requirements

All state certified and registered contractors require 14 CEU every 2 years.

 

1 Hour Mandatory Credit - Workers' Compensation

1 Hour Mandatory Credit - Job Site Safety

1 Hour Business Practice Credit

4 Hours General Credits

7 Hours Technical Credit

14 Total Continuing Education Credits

 

4 Hours Credit - Unified Code Review & NEC Update (Core)

(Is required by August 31, 2004 - These 4 credits may be applied under General Credits or Technical Credits.

New Licensee's must take the 4 Hour Core within the first 2 years they obtain their license or 2 years from the time the Core was started.)




Renewal - August 31
Renewal Year - Even years

Other Licenses - Alarm I, Alarm II, Lighting Maintenance, Sign, Residential, Limited Energy, Utility Lineman

NEC Adoption Dates - July 1, 2003


 

The 2002 NEC is currently being used for both testing and field practice.
